What really topped off her elegant wedding day look was her feminine plaited hairstyle. After seeing the photos from Millie’s special day, here at Pauls Hair & Beauty World we simply couldn’t wait to have a go at this gorgeous hairstyle ourselves. Here’s our step by step guide on achieving Millie Mackintosh’s wedding day hair yourself… Step 1) Add texture and extra thickness to your hair by applying mousse to damp hair, working it through the hair from root to tip. Then blow dry the hair. Step 2) When dry, divide your hair into a middle part, brushing both sections until smooth. Step 3) Next, loosely plait both sections, securing the hair with small, discrete hair ties – we recommend using clear elastic hair bands. Step 4) Now take one of the plaits and pull over the top of your head – securing the plait into place with hair grips. Repeat this with the other plait, crossing it over on the opposite side. Make sure that each plait is securely fixed in place and no hair clips or bands are visible. Step 5) Now use your fingers to loosen the plait, adding any extra clips to hold the hair in place.
